Floor Care Manager
This position is responsible for scheduling, coordinating and managing floor care contract work, as well as providing floor care services at various sites.
Floor care is responsible for maintaining specific contract work as well as floor services.
Ability to hear, write, read, and comprehend what is read and perform basic math functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and possess a high degree of manual dexterity.
Work with customers to coordinate scheduling for floor care work as required for specified customers and group homes.
Directly responsible for the supervision and scheduling of the Custodial Project Worker (including Performance Improvement Plans and Annual Performance Evaluations).
Direct Supervision of Custodial Staff while performing and/or assisting in Floor Care work while at their respective custodial site.
Ensure customer satisfaction by performing quality floor care, which includes the following: dust mopping, wet mopping, and vacuuming, machine & hand scrubbing, polishing, carpet, upholstery & spot cleaning, window cleaning, scrubbing & top coating (training available), stripping & waxing (training available)
Substitute for regular custodial work when requested.
Assist Lead Custodian and Assistant Lead Custodian in new staff training when required
Maintain equipment and floor care closet in a clean and workable order.
Schedule the maintenance of equipment to repair facilities and coordinate the pick-up and delivery.
Act in a responsible and professional manner and obey all safety rules.
Complete proper paper work daily; time sheets, work orders, inspection reports, etc.
Perform all other duties requested by the Lead Custodian
Snow removal of sidewalks and parking areas at the Williamsport Federal Building during winter season.
Ensure floor care program runs smoothly and efficiently with profit and loss responsibility.
Responsible for weekly supply run to provide all contracts any ordered materials.
Assist Lead Custodian and Assistant Lead Custodian with managing of custodial contracts as assigned.
Receive clearances for the Federal Building in order to provide any floor care needs, as well as fill in as the Supervisor on an as needed basis.
Previous experience in floor care maintenance required.
Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive an agency vehicle.
Clean criminal background and child abuse clearances (to access all sites)
